I have been hiking, alpine skiing and Nordic skiing since before I can remember. I grew up among the moss, ferns, cedars, saltwater and glacial till of the Salish Sea basin – the fjord between Washington State’s Olympic Mountains and Cascade Mountains, carved out by continental ice sheets during the last major ice age. I got my first axe for a climb of Mt. Hood when I was eleven years old, and from that moment on, I was hooked. Climbing has been the primary focus of my life ever since.
What I provide
I provide one-on-one consults to help you with your hiking, climbing, and skiing adventures. All my early climbing was in the mountains, not at the crags. This gave me a wealth of knowledge that I have sharpened in places like Patagonia, Canada, Alaska and the Himalayas. I look forward to sharing it with you!
