Meet Jordan

Jordan Cannon

Jordan, now an Arc’teryx athlete, thrived in California during college, exploring Joshua Tree, Yosemite Valley, and the High Sierra. Post-graduation, he became a pro climber, conquering big link-ups like the Yosemite Triple Crown and El Capitan's "Golden Gate" in under 24 hours.

Among his peers, Jordan's revered for his work ethic, old-school style, and appreciation for the history of climbing.

Outdoor Beginner & Trad Climbing Program

Throughout his career, Jordan has received mentorship from larger-than-life figures like Alex Honnold and Peter Croft. He views his mentor program as a great chance to guide others as his mentors guided him.

Jordan and climbing legend Mark Hudon formed an unexpected partnership with a shared goal: Jordan aimed to free-climb El Capitan's "Free Rider" in a day, while Mark sought to become the oldest person to free-climb the route, regardless of the time it took.
