On Saturday, June 22, we focus on ground school outside Boulder, honing the skills needed to confidently navigate an alpine environment.
On Sunday, June 23, we put those skills to use on an alpine climb in the high mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park!
OVERVIEW
Want to go higher? Join Denver Mountain Guides (DMG) in their "Introduction to Mountaineering" course and acquire the skills you need to venture into the alpine and stand on top of some of the tallest peaks in Colorado and beyond!
This 2-day course focuses on the fundamentals of mountaineering. Over two 8-hour days in the high mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park, you'll engage in hands-on learning in a breathtaking environment. This venue provides a perfect classroom to practice a variety of techniques across different terrains.
Mountaineering offers a thrilling way to inject adventure into your life on a grand scale. However, navigating alpine terrain safely requires a significant amount of knowledge, and DMG's guides are here to teach you how to ascend technical mountains with confidence and safety and make your high-altitude dreams a reality.
