Rifle Mountain Park: Sport Climbing Trip with Denver Mountain Guiding

When? The experience includes two full days of guided climbing and instruction, along with camping fees, and is limited to the first four people who sign up. Climbers will arrive Friday afternoon or evening, spend all day Saturday and Sunday on the rock, and depart Sunday evening.

Full Overview: Rifle is known for its unique style of challenging climbing that demands good footwork and even a knee bar from time to time. This trip is tailored for intermediate sport climbers looking to push themselves in the steep canyon. Over the span of two days, participants will deepen their understanding of the classic climbing style at Rifle, work on knee bar techniques, and become acquainted with this exciting and challenging climbing area.

Pricing:

• 1 person: $1,200 each
• 2 people: $600 each
• 3 people: $400 each
• 4 people: $325 each

Prerequisites: Proficiency in top rope belaying is required. Familiarity with climbing on various terrains (indoors or outdoors) and a willingness to challenge oneself are necessary. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from Rifle, as well as their own food. A carpool list can be arranged once all participants are confirmed.

Equipment: Please bring any personal gear you have, including a helmet, harness, climbing shoes, chalk bag, belay device; all additional materials needed will be provided.
